Has anyone found anything peculiar about the lack of details concerning Dante's car? Given that Dante was driving a fairly distinct maroon 1994 Lexus ES250, I'd assume any reports of abandoned cars or sightings would be more widespread, but it seems like the trail went cold without much buzz. Was there ever a focus on potential surveillance or traffic cams along the possible routes he might have taken from Stockton to Concord? With a clear license plate—5UDD198—you'd think traces might pop up unless the car was somehow disguised or removed from the area pretty swiftly. Hoping someone with more info can shed some light on this or if there have been any updates on that front in recent years.
