Has anyone read "The Girl Behind the Door" by John Brooks? I've been thinking about Casey Joanna Brooks' case and how her dad got involved with the suicide prevention movement after her tragic death. It's such a powerful example of turning personal grief into advocacy. The book gives so much insight into Casey's life and the struggles her family faced. I wasn't aware of how much her early childhood in Poland might have impacted her until I read it. It's definitely a tough read, but it sheds light on the complexities of adoption and the need for mental health awareness. Highly recommend it if you're interested in understanding more about her story and the broader issue of mental health support. Anyone else read it and have thoughts?

Hey everyone, I'm really curious about Casey Joanna Brooks' case, particularly her decision to leave her car on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge before the tragic event. Was it simply because it's the closest spot for access to the bridge, or could there be more significance to that location? I know it's a common spot for bridge visitors to park, but it just made me wonder if maybe she had a particular connection to that area. Anyone have thoughts or insights? Maybe even similar cases where the choice of parking spot had some significance?
