Gary Brown was 25 when bullets from a November 13, 2006, shooting in the 1900 block of 18th Street SE left him severely wounded. He was one of three people struck around 9:30 p.m.; the other victims survived with injuries that did not ultimately prove fatal.

On November 24, 2015, Brown died in the hospital from complications tied to the 2006 gunshot wounds. The D.C. Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide, and police reopened the case, asking anyone with information about who fired that night to contact the homicide tip line or use anonymous reporting channels. No one has been publicly identified, arrested, or charged in connection with the shooting.

Did anyone who lived on or near 18th Street SE in 2006 see or hear something that could help investigators close this case?
