Hey everyone, I was going through Shawn Farzad Attaie's case and something just doesn’t sit right with me regarding the friend who was with him. Not implying any wrongdoing, but isn’t it peculiar that he had a photograph of Shawn right before he fell in? It makes me wonder what was happening in those moments leading up to the accident. Plus, the notion that the tourists didn't believe his cries for help makes the whole situation seem even more dire. Could it have been a case of unfortunate misunderstanding because they both had been drinking? I think this highlights an important issue of bystander intervention and how these critical moments can affect the outcome of such a tragedy. What do you all think?
