I’ve been following Kevin Prater's case and was hoping to discuss something that doesn’t seem to get much attention—his family and how they must be feeling around this time of year. It's been over eight years, and I can only imagine the pain and frustration they must still be experiencing every December. Living in a neighborhood where violent incidents are not uncommon, I understand the fear and uncertainty these events can create for a community. Even if you don't know the victim personally, the ripple effect touches everyone. I wish there was more community support spread over time, not just following each tragedy. We need to continuously support his family and encourage those who might have the smallest piece of information to come forward—even anonymously. Someone out there holds the missing piece that could bring closure and justice to Kevin's loved ones. Let’s keep this case alive in discussions and hope that someday soon, answers come to light.
