Has anyone else heard about Ian Thorstad's case? I was reading up on it and got particularly interested in his family’s role in the investigation. Ian's mother is a journalist at KTVU, and it seems like she's really leveraging her media connections to keep his case in the public eye. It can't be easy wearing both hats—being a mother desperately hoping for her son’s return and a professional trying to use every available resource to find him. I wonder how effective media exposure is in these situations. Does anyone else think that having someone on the inside, so to speak, could actually make a significant impact in missing persons cases? Would love to hear your thoughts.
