Michael Donell Adams, 23, was shot on the evening of February 19, 2016, in the 900 block of Eastern Avenue NE in Washington, D.C. The shooting occurred at about 8:15 p.m.; emergency services transported Adams to a local hospital, where he later died of his injuries. His death was one of two fatal shootings in the city that day.
