Hey everyone, just stumbled upon the case of Jonghyon Won and wanted to share some thoughts. What puzzles me is the sighting of his car near the New Hance Trailhead before it ended up at Moran Point. Both places are known for their challenging terrain and remote location. It's intriguing because if he wasn't planning on being there, why would his car be spotted in such specific, difficult-to-reach areas? I wonder if Jonghyon was an avid hiker or perhaps exploring a new interest? It's odd that there are no records of him sharing plans to visit. Could someone familiar with the trails have driven his car there? I know the Grand Canyon can be unforgiving, but it's baffling to think no trace of him was found despite the search efforts. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this particular aspect!

Hey everyone, I've been looking into the Jonghyon Won case and stumbled across a curious detail that I can't seem to shake off. While reading up on the case's timeline, it's noted that Jonghyon's car was seen near the New Hance Trailhead before being found abandoned at Moran Point. I'm just thinking out loud here, but could this suggest that he might've initially planned to go hiking? New Hance Trail isn't the most accessible or safest without proper preparation, and it's strange with no prior indication he planned this trip. Does anyone know if it's common for folks to end up there without prior experience or planning? It seems like a spot you'd go if you were more familiar with the area. Wondering if anyone has theories on how he might've gotten to this trailhead and if anyone has looked into whether he might've met someone or arranged to meet someone there. ?
