Has anyone else been struck by Randolph Michael Kovaly's odd phone call story? I understand he claims to have spoken with Etta on June 5, 1989, but he didn’t know where she was. It just seems strange to me, especially since her lunch with Deborah was the last confirmed sighting. If this call indeed happened, why wouldn’t he have asked where she was when they spoke? I'm also curious about why it took so long for her disappearance to be reported. It’s almost like there was a deliberate delay. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but something doesn’t sit right. Would love to hear others' thoughts on this.
