In the early summer of 1989, a 50-year-old woman named Etta Mae Kovaly disappeared from her life in Avondale, Arizona, leaving behind a mystery that has puzzled her family for decades. On June 1st of that year, Etta had lunch with her daughter, a seemingly ordinary meeting that would become the last confirmed time she was seen by a loved one.
