Does anyone know if Everett Ervin Charley had any specific connections to places outside of Cove, Arizona? It's been ages, but I find it odd that there aren't more leads or sightings even after all these years. With those distinctive tattoos and his height, you'd think someone might have spotted him somewhere. Maybe he had ties to another community or traveled to a neighboring state? You never know where a small piece of info could come from! Just throwing ideas out there and hoping someone might remember something.
I was recently reading about Everett Ervin Charley's case and got really curious about the tattoos he had. I know tattoos can sometimes be a major clue or help raise awareness, so I wanted to ask if anyone who might know could chime in about his Shiprock rock sleeve. It's a pretty specific design—if anyone in the area saw something like this on someone who looked like Everett, it could be a lead, right?
Also, those "Smile Now Cry Later" words on his neck really stand out to me. They could have been talking points or conversation starters. Maybe someone out there remembers discussing them with him or noticed them at the time? In a case that hasn't moved in so long, I'm hoping discussing details like tattoos might shake something loose. Anyone here with experience or ideas on how tattoos have played a role in identifying or finding missing people? Would love to hear your thoughts!
