I’ve been thinking a lot about the location where Westley Blackwell was found—inside his vehicle on Valley Avenue. It raises so many questions for me. Why move from Wahler Place to Valley Avenue after being shot? Was he trying to escape or get somewhere safe? Or could there have been someone in the car with him when it happened? This must be such a painful process for his family and friends, not having answers or closure. I can’t even begin to imagine what they’re going through as they wait for news. It makes it even more important for the community to come forward if they know anything, no matter how small. Sometimes it's the little details that can bring a case together. Let's hope for justice not just for Westley, but to help keep our streets safer too. Does anyone else have thoughts on the placement of the vehicle or possible routes he might have taken?
