Has anyone else noticed the long gap between when DeAngelo was last in contact with his family and when he was reported missing? He last talked to them in January 2024, but wasn't actually reported missing until almost two years later in December 2025. I'm curious about why it took so long for the report to be filed. It seems strange to me, especially since he updated his DMV info on June 25, 2024. Did something specific happen that raised concern later on, or was he known to be someone who liked to go off-grid for a while? I really hope this new year brings some answers for his family! Anyone with more insight or updates from the LAPD would be appreciated.
