Hi everyone,
I've been digging into the details of Ethan Hunter Osborne's case and something really struck me. It’s not unusual for fishermen to work in Alaska given the lucrative nature of the work, but the timing of his communications seemed off to me. He kept up with family through social media after being last seen in Greensboro, but was any verification ever made regarding his employment on a fishing boat in Alaska? It could be a good lead to track down if the company he worked for, or his co-workers, can confirm his whereabouts during those months. Was any follow-up done to connect with the fishing community there? Maybe they could provide insights or even spotted something unusual? Detective Proffitt should look into that aspect if it hasn't been explored yet. Thoughts?
Hey everyone, I came across something odd while looking through Ethan Osborne's missing persons case, and it's been stuck in my mind ever since. I noticed that the last reported contact was around early November 2025, and Ethan mentioned working on a fishing boat in Alaska. Does anyone else find it strange that someone working at sea would have such sporadic communication, especially since he had kept in touch via social media before?
I'm curious if anyone here has insight into the working conditions on those fishing boats. Like, how often do employees get the chance to use the internet or phones? It seems a bit off that someone could just go completely silent, given the era of satellite phones and such. Could it be possible that something happened onboard, or maybe he wasn't actually working on a boat? Just some thoughts that I've been pondering over. Would love to get others' opinions on this matter.
