Did anyone else notice how chilling it is that Treyveon’s case got connected to a series of other unsolved homicides in Anchorage, all because of ballistic analysis? It’s like it took a deeper dive into the chaos in Anchorage at the time to realize there was something much bigger at play. I can't imagine how Treyveon’s mom, Mandy, must have felt learning that he was one of several victims. A young man, full of life and ambition, excited about joining the Army and becoming a doctor, yet he became part of a much darker narrative. The community really lost someone special when they lost Treyveon. It’s a small relief that the police were able to find some answers and put an end to this string of violence with the apprehension of Ritchie. But still, none of it brings comfort to the families left behind. I hope they’re finding some strength through this.
