Hey everyone, just came across the case of Carol Mattis who disappeared from East Orange, NJ back in July 2025, and something really fascinates me—Mattis was supposed to fly to Jamaica the day after he went missing but never boarded his flight. It makes me wonder if he ever planned to go at all or if something happened that made him change his mind last minute.
The fact that his car was found weeks later in Newark, with the plates removed and discarded nearby, really raises some red flags for me. It's almost like someone wanted to make it hard to trace or maybe even stage something. The area where the car was found isn't exactly known for being the safest, so that adds another layer of speculation.
Also, what caught my eye is the way Mattis was described with his hair partially gray at the time he went missing. The little details like that sometimes get overlooked, but they could be super important if someone saw him or thinks they might have.
