I can't stop thinking about the welfare check that led to this discovery. I can't imagine the weight the officers must carry after finding Larry and his wife in such a tragic situation. It's a reminder of how critical these welfare checks can be. I’ve seen a lot of discussions about the timeline and how the police initially didn’t find anything unusual. It makes me wonder about the subtle signs that something might be wrong. Are there better ways we can predict or detect these situations? My heart goes out to both families having to process such a thing. It's so sad thinking about the events that must have unfolded silently at that residence. If anyone has insights or thoughts on improving welfare checks to prevent such losses, I'd love to hear different perspectives.
