I've been thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on Bruce "Gotor" Morgan's son. I keep coming back to the stark reality that he will grow up without his father around. It must be incredibly difficult for him and the entire family. From everything I've read about Bruce, he was a great guy and truly cared about his loved ones. It's just hard to wrap my head around how someone could take that away from not only Bruce but his child too. It's good to see that the community rallied together with things like the Forty Day Feast to honor Bruce's memory. I hope this brings some comfort and healing to his son as he grows up and learns more about his father through the eyes of the Aniak community. If anyone from the local area is here, I'd be really interested to hear about any other ways they’re supporting the family and what comes next for them.
