It’s deeply unsettling to think about how this incident unfolded in what’s usually such a quiet neighborhood. I often walked my dog near Chugach Way, and it’s hard to imagine something so tragic happening there. One thing that’s been on my mind since learning about the case is the possibility of additional witnesses who haven’t yet come forward. I'm hoping they find that unidentified male witness soon, as every little piece of information can be crucial in solving these cases. The fact that Pitka voluntarily spoke to detectives is a positive sign, but I really wonder why it took a couple of days for both Horton and Pitka to turn themselves in. It makes me curious about the dynamics and connections between them all. My heart goes out to Tyshaun Gray’s family—can only imagine the pain they must be going through right now. Hopefully, with the combined efforts of the community and the police, they can find some semblance of closure. If anyone around here knows anything, even the smallest detail, please consider coming forward. Every piece counts.
