I’ve been following the discussions around Randy Ropati’s tragic murder, and one thing that keeps sticking in my mind is the sheer randomness of it all. How terrifying to think that someone could just walk into your home and end your life without any apparent motive. I can’t imagine the fear and shock Randy must have felt in those moments. My heart goes out to his friends and family who have to live with this reality. Knowing that Leafa was captured on surveillance footage leaving both crime scenes just adds another layer of disbelief. It’s a relief that justice was served and he’s behind bars, but it doesn’t bring Randy back to those who loved him. I'm just holding space for his family who have to navigate this senseless loss every single day. It’s a pain no one should have to endure.
