I can’t stop thinking about Nelson Reece’s remarkable athletic talent, especially hearing stories from his high school days. I went to Service High School too, a few years after him, and I remember the buzz about his incredible skills on the field. It's tragic that someone who once brought his community together through sports ended up losing his life in such a senseless manner. I hope his family finds some comfort in knowing how much he impacted those around him, whether it was classmates, teammates, or even younger students like myself who looked up to him. Sending strength and love to everyone who knew him.
