Hey everyone. I've been trying to wrap my head around the Martez Poe case, and one thing that's been bugging me is the timeline between his disappearance and when it was officially reported. Martez was last seen on December 19, 2025, and while the case was created on December 23, it wasn't reported to the Polk County Sheriff's Office until December 22. That's a pretty significant window of time, especially considering he was last seen leaving a basketball court on foot. Has anyone else noticed how crucial those initial days are in missing person cases? I wonder if there are any specific reasons for the delay in reporting, like if perhaps it was initially thought he might have gone somewhere temporarily or if communication issues occurred. Would love to hear others' thoughts or explanations. Has the family spoken out about this gap at all?
