I was thinking about Packy Kobuk's case and realized something that might be worth discussing. From what’s been shared publicly, it doesn't sound like there were any sightings or leads about what happened right after he left the assisted living home. Does anyone else find it odd? I mean, Anchorage isn't a massive city, and you’d think someone would’ve noticed something—especially if he was on foot in blue jeans and without any reported vehicle or companions. No reports about direction, time of day, or even a description of any interactions in the area? How is that possible?
It's like he vanished into thin air, and without more information being released, it's hard not to wonder if there was a delay in raising the alarm at the home or if people assumed he was just out for a short while. I know privacy and regulations can be barriers, but it seems like the time gap before authorities got involved didn’t help either. I’m really hoping someone out there with any info, no matter how small, comes forward soon. If anyone has insights on what might be happening or how these kinds of cases are usually handled in small communities, it would be great to hear them.
