Did anyone hear anything about Melvin Burkes having a prior connection with Andrew Blake Carter before the argument? I'm just curious if there's any background between them that might have escalated things so quickly. It's so devastating for his family and friends, especially since it's always hard to make sense of these sudden losses. I read that Melvin was known around the neighborhood, and many people said he had a kind heart. It's tragic how easily these situations can spiral, and it's a stark reminder of the urgency needed in addressing gun violence in Birmingham. If anyone has any more insight or thoughts, it could really help paint a clearer picture of what led to this tragedy.
