I've been following Thomas Weightman's case closely and wanted to talk about something that really struck me during the initial days when he was reported missing. I heard that the surveillance footage captured him walking near the edge of the valley on the day he disappeared. It's such a haunting image to think about – just someone taking an ordinary walk before everything changed. It's only human to replay these bits and pieces when someone vanishes without a trace. You wonder, what was he thinking in that moment? Was he following a routine path he loved, or did he decide on a whim to take a different route that day? I've read comments from folks saying that path toward Gales Creek is quite scenic, but also easy to lose your direction if you're not familiar with its twists and turns. Seeing actual footage of him on that edge, and then knowing he called mentioning a hole, makes it doubly concerning. We all know how spots of the landscape can have unexpected drops or be rough. Could that be a clue as to where he ended up? Also, with the tech not pinpointing his location accurately and the dense green terrain, it's frustrating to think he might be so close, yet unreachable. I hope there's still something that can be revealed by going over any additional footage from other locations. Maybe another angle can show or lead the search in a new direction. Keep the hope going and report if you see or hear anything new that might help find Tom!

Hey everyone, I read something about the role of drones in Thomas Weightman's search that got me thinking. With all the drones buzzing around trying to find him, has there been any discussion about using thermal imaging? I know SAR teams often use this tech, especially in wooded or uneven terrain. Considering the dense vegetation and slopes in the area, a thermal imaging drone might pick up a heat signature, even if he’s under some cover, right? But I didn’t see anyone mention it specifically. Does anyone know if that's part of their strategy here, or maybe more info on how effective these drones have been in other cases? My heart goes out to his family and the search teams working hard to bring him home.
