I just can't stop thinking about that moment when Demarkus was driving with his kids. It's chilling to think about the fear he must have felt trying to protect them, especially little Madison and her baby brother. It's such a horrific event that resulted in lasting pain for the family. Madison's passing feels like an additional wound; her short life was filled with so many challenges after that senseless attack. I really hope that as a community we find ways to support her family. No arrests yet is incredibly frustrating, and it's crucial that the Birmingham PD keeps up the pressure to find justice for them. If anyone in the area saw anything or knows something, now's the time to step forward. We can't let this little girl and her father be forgotten. My heart goes out to everyone who loved them.
I've been following the tragic case of Demarkus Etwan Moss, Sr., and his daughter Madison for a while now, and one thing that really stands out to me is the resilience of that little girl.
