Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of little Kacey Jackson, and my heart goes out to his family during this unimaginable time. One thing that's been weighing on my mind is the broader issue of gun safety and responsibility. It's absolutely critical that we, as a community, emphasize the importance of securing firearms properly, especially in homes with children. After Kacey's death, I noticed the Birmingham Police Department highlighted the need for gun owners to lock away their firearms. This can’t be stressed enough. I’m curious to hear other people's thoughts on how we can promote more effective gun safety awareness and perhaps advocate for better education around this topic. Sending lots of strength and love to Kacey’s family and anyone affected by this tragic incident. Stay safe, everyone.
