I’ve been following the Birmingham case since it happened, and one detail that keeps sticking with me is the presence of food trucks during the shooting. It’s hard to imagine how a seemingly normal night out could turn so tragic. People go there to enjoy some good food and be with friends, and all of a sudden, they’re caught in something so terrifying. It makes me think about the vendors and all those people—how shaken they must be now. I really hope anyone who was around steps forward with information. It could be vital in catching whoever is responsible and bringing some peace to the victims’ families. Keeping the families of Jjuan and Dyron, and the woman still fighting for her life, in my thoughts. Stay strong, Birmingham.

I've been following the case from Birmingham, and something that's been on my mind is the impact this tragedy must have on the local community, especially those who witnessed it. Being around when something like this happens can be traumatizing, and I genuinely hope there are resources available for those who saw the aftermath. Those 100 or so people were just out enjoying a night with food trucks, something that should be fun and relaxing. It's tragic how quickly things can turn. I hope anyone who has information, no matter how small it might seem, steps up to help provide some answers for the families and loved ones of Jjuan and Dyron. It's also important that we provide support to the woman who survived; I can't imagine how much she's going through right now, physically and emotionally. Sending strength to everyone affected.
