Just thinking about Ahkii and Hugh's case tonight. It’s so upsetting to know that this young man's life and his father’s were taken so suddenly and without reason. Ahkii had his whole future ahead of him, and it seems like just yesterday that the biggest thing he worried about was scoring touchdowns and doing well in school. His coaches and teammates must be missing him terribly. I keep coming back to the lack of suspects and information. How does someone just vanish after such a heinous act? This case highlights a real failure in protecting and serving our communities, and it’s scary to think about how many families never see justice. If anyone reading this is from the area, even if you think what you know seems insignificant, please reach out to the detectives. Ahkii and Hugh deserve justice, and their family needs peace. We can’t let this case become just another statistic. Anyone else here from the neighborhood? What’s the vibe been like since it all happened?
