I can’t believe what happened to Christen. My heart truly goes out to his family and friends who are dealing with this unimaginable loss. I live not too far from Avenue N, and it’s terrifying to think such violence happened right in our neighborhood. It’s got me wondering about the effectiveness of the ShotSpotter system. I mean, it registered nine rounds, but was it fast enough to make a difference? I hope they get all they can from it to catch whoever did this. Also, I read Christen’s obituary, and it was clear he was loved and appreciated by many. It’s so senseless. I really hope that anyone who knows even the smallest detail comes forward so there can be some semblance of justice and peace for his loved ones. It's crucial for our community to rally together and stand up against this kind of violence. It impacts us all.
