So I know sinar, he is a good friend of my room mate. He was at my house on hillside some time before his dissapearance. Him and his girl friend stayed a couple nights with us and when they left I dropped his girl off at an RV (that allegedly was to become theirs) behind the subway near Dowling and Old Seward and I dropped him off at the mission (shelter) just down the street a ways, and he was supposed to walk back to said rv when he finished whatever at the shelter. I haven't heard from them since. I didnt even know he was missing until I saw his profile on namus. Something that does stick out to me is that there was unidentified remains located by a creek that line up with his build as well as the style of clothing I've seen him wear.
I don't know who to contact to bring attention to my suspicions. Also this theory is just my speculation. I don't have any hard evidence. Plus there is literally nothing in the missing person report other than he's missing.
Thank you for speaking up about Sinar. The right place to share what you know is directly with investigators on his case.
Please call Anchorage Police Dispatch at 311 or (907) 786-8900 (press 0) and reference APD case #250023839 and NamUs ID MP150285. You can also submit what you know to the Alaska State Troopers tip portal if that’s easier.
In your report, include:
• Your Hillside address (or nearest block) and the dates he and his girlfriend stayed.
• The drop-offs you made: (1) the RV behind the Subway near Dowling & Old Seward, and (2) the mission/shelter down the street; approximate dates/times.
• Any descriptions: RV make/model/color/plate (if known), clothing he wore, and what he said about going back to the RV.
• When you last saw or heard from either of them and any phone numbers/social handles you used to reach them.
• Your concern about unidentified remains by a creek and why they reminded you of him (location, date you heard about it, clothing style, etc.).
If you have texts, call logs, photos, or doorbell/dash-cam video, please preserve them and tell APD—they’ll advise how to share.
Thank you again for coming forward. If you’re comfortable, please also give investigators permission to contact you for follow-ups.
