I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact this has had on Montraevious’s classmates and teachers at Tellis Educational Services. It’s beyond tragic to hear how his life, so full of promise, was taken just weeks before he was about to graduate. From what I understand, he was well-liked and had big plans for his future. I can't imagine the emotional toll it must be taking on students and faculty who were looking forward to celebrating that milestone with him. The community’s outpouring of love and support during this time is commendable, but it also serves as a stark reminder of the urgent need to address gun violence in these neighborhoods. It's important to keep conversations going—not just among law enforcement or policymakers, but within schools and community groups. If anyone has thoughts on how schools can play a role in violence prevention, I'd love to discuss it further. Education is supposed to be a safe space, and it’s heartbreaking to know that a young person’s pursuit of knowledge ended in such a way. Sending strength to everyone affected. Let's hope we see some justice soon.

Hi everyone, I just can't stop thinking about Montraevious and how senseless this act of violence was. It's devastating to think of someone so young, with his whole life ahead of him, being taken away just weeks before his graduation. I saw a few comments about the number of shell casings found at the scene – over 100! That number keeps sticking with me because it just shows how chaotic and dangerous things got. It makes me wonder what could lead to such an escalation. Was it just a heated argument that spiraled out of control, or was there more to it? I really hope the investigation can piece together what happened and if there's anyone out there with information, please come forward. His family, friends, and community deserve answers and justice for what happened. Stay safe out there, everyone. Hug your loved ones a little tighter today.

I was reading through some posts here, and this case has had me thinking a lot about Montraevious and his lost potential. I can’t imagine the pain his family and friends are going through right now, especially when he was so close to graduating. What stood out to me was the sheer number of shell casings found. Over 100! It's frightening to think about how easily a place meant for celebration turns into a site of tragedy. The fact that it happened during a party just makes it more unsettling. People were probably just there to have a good time, maybe reconnecting or making new friends, and in a blink, it turns into chaos. It's a harsh reminder of how prevalent gun violence has become, not just in Birmingham, but everywhere. We all need to reflect on what's going wrong in our communities and work together towards real solutions. Thoughts and prayers just don't seem like enough anymore. If anyone has more information, I hope they step forward. As a community, we owe that to Montraevious and to keeping our streets safer for everyone else.
