Has anyone else noticed the questionable timeline between Jasmine's passing and Marcus's arrest? From what I can gather, there seems to be almost two weeks before any charges were laid against Swink. I'm curious if there was a delay in identifying him as the suspect, or if they took their time gathering sufficient evidence. It's frustrating to think about any moment where justice felt delayed for Jasmine and her loved ones, especially with the pain her family must be enduring. I hope the authorities left no stone unturned to ensure they have the right person and that the evidence holds up in court. Anyone with insight into how these investigations typically unfold, or opinions on this case’s progression?
Has anyone else been struck by how close this case hits to home? I didn’t know Jasmine personally, but Anniston is my hometown, and the news of her passing has been a shock. It's hard to make sense of such a tragic loss in a place that feels like it's always been safe and familiar. Jasmine was only 29, and to think her life was cut short like this is terrifying.
I've read about how warm and kind she was to her friends and family, and my heart truly goes out to them, especially her daughters and her mother. I can't imagine the pain they’re experiencing right now. The community really needs to rally together and support them however we can.
Also, does anyone know if there’s a fund or anything set up for her daughters? Losing a mom is something no child should have to go through, and I’d love to help if there's a way to provide them some stability during this tough time. If anyone has any info on this, please share.
