I’ve been looking into the Dorsaneo case a lot, and something that keeps catching my attention is the timing around when her backpack was found. It seems odd to me that it took over a year and a half for it to be discovered on the Martic Township shoreline. I’m wondering if the currents in that part of the Susquehanna could have brought it there from where the boat went down, or if it indicates something else entirely? Did anyone catch any reports on the river search operations at that time, or know if the area was regularly monitored? It's just tough to figure out how much we can rely on the location to tell us more about what might have happened.
Does anyone else find it odd that Kristen Dorsaneo’s backpack was found all the way on the Martic Township shoreline, months after the incident? I mean, the Susquehanna River is huge, and the fact that her backpack just popped up over a year later has me thinking about what might have happened that night. Is it possible it got caught in something, slowing its movement downriver, or maybe it was placed there later? Also, are there any updates on what was inside the backpack? It’s eerie to think about her personal items making their way to land while she’s still missing. Thoughts?
