Hey everyone, I’ve been digging into the tragic events around Cornelius May Jr.'s case and something that's been on my mind is the location. That Chevron gas station area on Finley Boulevard has seen quite a bit of trouble in the past, hasn't it? It's unsettling to think that places we pass every day can become hotspots for such violence. It must be incredibly difficult for the families knowing that the investigation hasn't led to answers yet, especially in an area that so many people frequent.
I wonder if the additional foot traffic and visibility in that area might help jog someone’s memory. It’s a busy part of town, especially at that hour. My thoughts are with Cornelius’s loved ones. I truly hope that someone who knows something will come forward and help the investigators. If you have any tips or insights, let's keep discussing and doing what we can to support this case.
Has anyone else looked into the potential surveillance footage from the Chevron station on the night of the shooting? With it being a busy area, you'd think there might be some cameras that could have captured something helpful. I can’t imagine the pain Cornelius’s family is going through not having answers or justice yet. It’s just devastating that two other people suffered injuries in this chaos too. If there’s anyone reading this who might have been near Finley Boulevard that night or has heard anything, I urge you to come forward. Even the smallest detail could make a difference. We need to support each other and help the police bring those responsible to justice.
