Hey everyone, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tragic incident involving Zevin Lenard Patterson. It's just so hard to comprehend how a family argument could escalate to such a devastating point. My heart goes out to the family and friends left behind, who must be struggling with this unimaginable loss. I was thinking about the broader implications on our community. This case really brings to light how important it is to address and manage conflicts before they spiral out of control. In a lot of families, conflict resolution isn't something that's openly discussed, and maybe that's something we need to change. I’m curious if there are any community programs or resources in Birmingham that focus on conflict resolution or family counseling? It seems like there should be more proactive support systems in place. If anyone knows of any, please share. I believe coming together and supporting each other might be a good step toward preventing future tragedies.
