I've been thinking a lot about the reality of domestic violence lately, especially with the Wilson and Reynolds case. It's just devastating how often these situations end in violence. Cheyanne was only 30, with so much life ahead of her, but she was taken away under such tragic circumstances. It makes you wonder what steps could be taken to prevent these incidents from happening in the first place. So many people loved and knew her; she didn't deserve this fate. It's a harsh reminder that we need to put more focus on supporting those in toxic relationships and ensuring they have safe avenues to seek help. My heart goes out to both families; I can't even begin to imagine the pain they're going through. I hope that this case pushes for meaningful changes in our community's approach to tackling domestic violence.
