The news about Detraio Whorton’s death is incredibly difficult for the community and especially for his family and friends who are working through their loss. One element of this case that has gotten quite a bit of attention is the decision to classify it as a justified death investigation. I can't help but wonder if these "justifiable" rulings sometimes leave more questions than answers for the loved ones of those involved. It’s commendable how Detraio’s mother, Sheree Kennon, responded to such a tragic loss. By founding "What About Us," she's no doubt becoming a beacon of strength for others facing similar heartbreak. Her efforts in advocating for support and resources for affected families speak volumes about her character and determination. Sending love to everyone involved, and hoping that Sheree’s work continues to make an impactful difference.
