It’s tough to wrap my head around the district attorney’s decision not to file charges in Joshua’s case. I understand there might be complexities we're not aware of, but it’s so hard to see justice not being served for someone so vulnerable. Imagine the pain his family must be grappling with, dealing not only with their loss but also with the uncertainty and lack of closure. Does anyone know more about how these decisions are typically made by a DA's office? It leaves so many of us with questions about whether justice will ever be pursued for Joshua. I hope that someday soon, more information comes to light to provide some answers and maybe even some peace for his loved ones.

Hi everyone, I've been following Joshua Amazia Griffin's case, and I was struck by how incredibly sad and confusing it all is. The Jefferson County Coroner ruled his death a homicide due to blunt-force trauma and pneumonia, yet the DA chose not to press any charges. I'm really puzzled as to how they could reach that decision. Does anyone know more about the criteria they might have used? Is it common for DAs to decline charges even when the coroner's report indicates a homicide? I imagine Joshua's family must be going through an unimaginable ordeal, having to deal with losing him without any closure or justice being served. I'm hoping they find peace somehow, though it must be so tough. It's cases like these that really make you question the justice system and how it decides which cases to pursue. Any thoughts or additional info would be really appreciated. Sending love and strength to his family and loved ones. ?️
