Has anyone else been following the awful tragedy that happened on Glen Crest Drive in Fairfield? I can't get over the fact that DeAngelo Dwayne Poole lost his life in such a senseless act of violence. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are dealing with this unimaginable loss. What I find truly terrifying is the randomness of it. It was a drive-by, and it leaves me wondering if the area has become a hotspot for such violent crimes. I read that witnesses claimed it was a high-powered weapon, which makes it seem like whoever did this had some serious intent. Safety in that neighborhood seems to be a big issue, and it worries me for the people living there. The community's call for more police patrols is definitely understandable. It's just scary to think that more lives could be put at risk if things don't change fast. Has there been any talk from local authorities about what measures they might take? If anyone has any updates on the investigation or if there's been any progress, please share. I hope they find who's responsible soon.
