I was thinking about Acorian's involvement in the Amazon and welding programs at Bessemer City High School. It says a lot about his character and work ethic. To be so young and already pursuing skills like that speaks volumes. It breaks my heart knowing all that's been lost, not just in terms of his potential career but also in the positive impact he was already having on those around him. I hope the school community finds some way to honor his memory, maybe through scholarships or a program in his name. Keeping his family and friends in my thoughts as they navigate this unimaginable loss. It's hard to make sense of such a senseless act of violence, and I just wish things were different.
I'm just so saddened by this whole situation. It’s shocking and unsettling to think about how Acorian’s life was taken over something he wasn’t even involved in.
