I can't stop thinking about the ripple effects this terrible event has had on Kamisha and Kendrick's families. Easter is such a meaningful time for many - a day usually filled with joy, family, and renewal. To have it marred by such violence is beyond comprehension. My heart goes out to Kamisha's family as they try to navigate this sudden and senseless loss. I hope the community comes together to support them at this time and that there will be justice for both Kamisha and Kendrick. Has anyone heard if Bessemer is planning any vigils or memorials for them?

Did anyone else notice the increasing violence at what should be joyful family gatherings like this one? It’s dreadful to think about what Kamisha and Kendrick’s families are going through right now. Easter is a time for families to come together, but instead, this tragedy unfolded. It’s scary to think that you can’t even feel safe at a holiday celebration with your loved ones. Do we know if any suspects have been identified yet? I hope the police are able to find out what happened and bring those responsible to justice.
