Hanley was with his friend Brandon on the 4th of July.. they have been friends since high school. Brandon is a user, manipulator and a horrible person who has been taking advantage of Hanley's goodwill for years. Brandon was unlawfully sleeping in the office that Hanley was using to hold his tennis and clothing brand gear. He allowed Brandon to stay there a few nights after Brandon got out of jail. The landlord caught wind of Brandon staying there and told them both that this is an office space not residential. Brandon wouldn't stop sleeping at the office to the point that the landlord had him evicted... the sheriff had to come remove him from the office and Hanley came by to help with the situation getting Brandon in touch with a social worker so he could find a homeless shelter to start sleeping in. During this process Brandon started acting creepy towards Hanley to the point that Hanley started voicing his concern to close friends and family about Brandon's mental health condition. They were seen together on the 4th of July in Hanley's car watching fireworks in Dana Point.. then Brandon drives to Riverside County and comes back home in the middle of the night but without Hanley! When asked where Hanley is, Brandon stated "IDK what happened to him, I was drunk."
Brandon just needs to be honest and tell someone what happened. What kind of 'creepy' behavior was he doing?
His car was seen on Ortega Highway heading out to Riverside County early in the morning and then seen coming back. His car was at his house the next morning with the key and garage remote on his driver's seat. Not sure if you've seen the charges he incurred back in December of 2024. Might have led to this. Who knows who he was involved with. I suspect foul-play. The car being at his house, to me, was an attempt to try and avoid detection of him being missing. Sending thoughts and prayers for him and also for his family.
"Further investigation revealed that in the early hours of July 5, Hanley's vehicle was detected traveling along the Ortega Highway toward Riverside County, only to be later tracked returning to Orange County. This movement has raised questions about his whereabouts during that time frame. Hanley had no prior history of going missing and was known to maintain regular contact with his family, making his sudden disappearance particularly concerning."
I looked everywhere I could and didn't see any updates on this case since July. How sad. I hope this case hasn't been put on the backburner and the police are talking to potential witnesses and people that may have any type of information. How can people just dissapear in this day and age?
He was with his good friend Brandon who has been experiencing worse and worse mental issues. Hanley wanted to help Brandon and has been actively . Brandon has been giving creepy vibes and has been making strange morbid statements in the months up to Hanley's disappearance. He was with Brandon when he went missing... and Brandon states he doesn't remember what happened to Hanley because he was drunk. Hanley is a health nut and doesn't drink... but he's a very social person that loves to go out and meet new people. So he didn't just wander off, he's not lost, he didn't run away from anything... it was Brandon M Taylor.
