Hanley Justin Ernst, a 48-year-old resident of Laguna Niguel, California, was last seen on the evening of July 4, 2025. According to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Hanley left his home with a friend to attend a fireworks show in Dana Point. He was wearing a distinctive orange and tan plaid tracksuit with white shoes. Despite plans to return home that night, Hanley never made it back. His vehicle was found parked outside his residence the next morning, with the key and garage remote left on the driver’s seat. Hanley had no prior history of going missing and was known to maintain regular contact with his family, making his sudden disappearance particularly concerning.
