Hey everyone, I came across this case about George and Burton, the crew members who went missing after their plane crashed on Mt. Crillon back in 1952. Does anyone know if there were any other similar incidents around that time involving military aircraft? I'm curious about whether this was an isolated event or if there were patterns that could suggest something overlooked in aviation safety from that era. If anyone has any insights or can point me to resources about C-47 incidents from the early 50s, I'd really appreciate it!
