Has anyone else noticed how quiet it's been regarding the case of Joseph Scott Norris and Jacqueline Sims Newsome? It’s deeply upsetting knowing that justice still hasn't been served for them. I stumbled upon an interview with one of their neighbors who mentioned hearing what sounded like fireworks that night but didn’t think much of it until the next day. It makes you wonder if there were potentially more witnesses who just didn’t realize the gravity of what they heard. Their families must be going through so much uncertainty right now, not knowing if the person or persons responsible will ever be caught. It feels crucial for anyone with even the smallest piece of information to come forward. We can’t let this case go cold. Sending strength to their family and everyone who knew and loved them.
I'm absolutely devastated to hear about the tragic loss of Joseph "Scotty" Norris and Jacqueline Sims Newsome. I can't stop thinking about Scotty's children and grandchild—Peyton, Hailey, and little Nathan. Losing a parent and grandparent like this is unimaginable, and my heart goes out to them. I truly hope they have plenty of support around them during this time.
Has anyone else been following updates on this case? I keep checking for any new developments, but it seems like there's been little progress. It's so frustrating that no arrests have been made yet, and the lack of a clear motive adds to the confusion. I know the Birmingham Police Department is doing everything they can, but I really hope someone with information comes forward soon.
Also, does anyone know if there are any fundraisers or community support initiatives happening for the family? It would be great to contribute in some way, even if it's just a little bit. If anyone hears of something, please share! They deserve all the support we can give.
