Did anyone else notice the odd timeline in Lucille Gallegos's case? I was looking into it and realized that it took weeks after her initial disappearance for any reports to emerge about searches or investigations happening around her apartment. It's so strange because whenever a case like this pops up, you'd think immediate action would be a priority, especially when it's someone like Lucille who seemed to be well-loved in her community. Does anyone have more info about what kind of investigation was launched initially or if there were any setbacks that might explain the delay?
Has anyone else been following the case of Lucille Gallegos? I was just thinking about the timeline—how they found her partial remains in her apartment on 06/25/2002. It just boggles my mind. How does something like that happen, where a person can be in their own home, and only parts of them are found? What I can’t wrap my head around is how this case has gone on for so long without more answers. I'm curious if the investigators have turned up any new leads or clues since then. It's good they're keeping her case active in NamUs, but it feels like there’s so much more to uncover. Anyone have any thoughts on what might have happened or any updates on the search for additional remains?
