Does anyone else feel concerned about the rise in violence in Birmingham, especially around the time Khalia Sturdivant was tragically killed? I recently read about his case, and it's just so unsettling. This incident, particularly happening in broad daylight during a burglary call, speaks volumes about the lack of safety even in the middle of the day. What struck me was the appeal for public assistance in solving this case. It makes you wonder about our responsibility as a community to come forward with any piece of information, no matter how small it might seem. It's haunting to think that there might be someone out there who knows something crucial but hasn't stepped up yet. My heart really goes out to his family; it's devastating to lose someone you love to such senseless violence. Let's hope community leaders' calls for action lead to some real changes.
