It's just so incredibly difficult to understand how someone could hurt a child, especially someone as innocent as little Kaiden. The details around this case are really unsettling, and my heart goes out to his family and everyone who loved him. It’s hard to imagine the betrayal they must feel knowing someone trusted was responsible for such a tragedy. The history of Sylvester Taylor is concerning, to say the least. With past convictions for reckless manslaughter and first-degree robbery, it makes you question how he was even in a position to have access to a child. It raises so many important issues about background checks and ensuring that those who have a violent past are carefully monitored, especially around children. I hope that justice is served for Kaiden and his family. The charges against Taylor are serious, and it’s vital that the judicial system takes every possible measure to ensure he is held accountable, if found guilty. No family should ever have to go through this kind of nightmare.
