Wow, this case is really weighing on my mind. Andre Falletta Shedric's tragic death in that hit-and-run still has no closure, and I can't imagine the pain that his family must be enduring. It’s concerning to see how many hit-and-runs occurred in Birmingham that year. It makes me wonder about the level of awareness and responsibility among drivers. Has anyone in this community heard any recent updates or rumors about what might have happened that night? I’m also curious if there have been any movements or initiatives started in Birmingham to improve pedestrian safety since 2019. It’s so important that we don’t just let these incidents fade away without learning from them. Peace and strength to those who loved Andre.
